Velogames Spain 2022 continues a new competition to run as an additional contest alongside the main Classic Leaderboard which team directors know and love. From Stage 4 onwards, each director will have 9 allocated transfers in order to bring Stage Huunters into their team to score points in a seperate leaderboard. Velogames Fantasy Cycling contests allow players, who act as directeurs sportifs of their own professional cycling team, to use 100 credits to select a squad of nine riders who will score points based on their real-life performances on the road!

The scoring system rewards all aspects of the race. Riders score points for stage position, overall classification positions each day, climbs, intermediate sprints, breakaways and team assists!
